New Version of the most awesome tool for Dynamics GP is out.

David Musgrave has just announced the release of Build 18 for the Support Debugging Tool. This is now a part of my Dynamics GP demonstrations to IT departments, and has helped wow people quite a few times.
Support Debugging Tool Build 18 released

Some of the new features I am excited about -

  • Added Re-install Button to About Support Debugging Tool window, so that Menus, Toolbars, Quicklinks and Security settings can be easily re-installed and re-applied to all users.
  • Added feature to automatically show currently selected Window and Field information in the Resource Information window.
  • Added Option to create or update Security Task and Security Role based on the Resources and Security Objects captured by the Security Profile window.

How good are you with naming things ?

The Dynamics GP Product Management team is looking for suggestions on the new Stampede (Nov 10 – 12 ) in Fargo this year. My suggestion is “Convergence : Frozen Edition” . Then again, I have never been asked to name anything for quite some time now.

The Power of a Name. Help us Name the New Fall Event

DAVID MUSGRAVE is planning to be there – making the 36 hour trip from Perth, Western Australia. So will most stalwarts in the Dynamics GP community – start planning! I am definitely planning to be there.
