Rather than answer ...

There are a lot of questions. Rather than answer each one here I'll point readers to some good places outside of the KB.

Note, the Forecaster Knowledge Base site is now integrated into the main Microsoft Support site so you no longer are required to have a login to PartnerSource or CustomerSource.

Go to www.microsoft.com and click "support" followed by clicking on knowledge base. Be sure to include "Forecaster 7" in your search criteria.

1. The best place to get product answers is the Help content provided with the product. It contains real-world examples and screen shots which can be very helpful. You can find it by clicking the 'Help' menu item or the question mark icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

2.Beyond the product help I also recommend Forecaster users to get familiar with the product message board which is monitored by myself along with individuals from both the product support and development teams: http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.forecaster&lang=en&cr=US

3. I highly recommend that organizations who are looking to implement Forecaster to get help from a trained consultant. You will pay more money up front but it will ensure the setup is best for your budgeting needs and save you a lot of pains in the long run.

I hope this helps,

Matt
