Business Portal for GP 2013 to Ship in Mar

Just a quick update for people planning upgrades to 2013 –

Business Portal is not available for GP 2013.  It is planned to ship in March.
If a customer moves to Perpetual and they own Business Portal, they will not be able to upgrade until March.

Business Portal Installation Problem ? Is your server named “BP” ?

A couple of people have posted in the newsgroups about installation problems with Business Portal when their server was named “BP”

Renaming the server, reinstalling MOSS fixes the problem. As Tom points out, and I did a quick check – there isn’t really anything in the documentation warning against naming the server “BP”.

I guess things can’t really go right for you, if you are named BP nowadays. :)
