Microsoft Forecaster 7.0 Service Packs Download Links

Microsoft Forecaster 7.0 SP4 has been released – See post by Jill

The Forecaster Team is always on top of things, and in the last few years I have noticed that any issue in Forecaster is usually resolved simply by installing the latest service pack. Most Forecaster updates are not very time consuming, and we try and make it a point to install the latest hotfix/service pack as soon as it is available.

Just got the mail from Microsoft this morning - "We are pleased to present you with the 2011 Microsoft MVP Award for Dynamics GP!"

I told Rubal - "I have good news"

She said - "What are you pregnant or something?"

That comment would have been fine, but considering she is the wife, didn't make sense. She says - "Its just the way you said 'I have good news', that's the only correct response"

Next I called up Richard and Belinda - the two people I have learnt most of Dynamics GP from. Belinda, after congratulating me said - "When you said good news, I thought you were going to say a baby is on the way. "

True Story.

I've kept the title of this post "Good News" in order to promote the fact that there is other good news in this world as well.

That being said - thank you to all of you out there who have helped and encouraged me in the last few years especially - Mark, David and Mariano.

I hope I can help people out with GP more in the future.

Dynamics GP Web Client

David Musgrave writes about the GP Web Client -

"However, there is no need to create a specific template for a form as the standard template will allow any Dexterity form to be rendered. This means that ISV's who develop in Dexterity will have their products web enabled without any additional work on their behalf."

Totally Awesome!!

The web client looks like a perfect fit for Silverlight! This should be very exciting!

Dynamics Influential People List

Thanks to some of you good people out there, dynamicsworld has put me in their initial list for "2011 TOP 100 MOST INFLUENTIAL MICROSOFT DYNAMICS PEOPLE" .
